True rulers keep their crown,
Whether they smile or frown,
It is more precious than gold,
For their crown cannot be sold,
Oh, it is not on their head’s skin
But only found deep within,
With their crown they rule,
Both the wise and the fool,
Jewel has this crown - I can see,
And one that will forever be
Her strength to reach many,
Another like it, is there any?
No - Jewel’s crown is love,
The kind only from above.

A lovely poem putting the crown in the right perspective. Here in Brazil there is an interesting history. When ruled by Portugal Dom Pedro the king he saw that he would loose power and therefore told his son to head the rebellion so that the power would stay in the family. When the time came he abdicated giving power to his son head of the rebellion. His son now king, his brother head of Brazilian colony declared independence and both brothers kept the crown in the family. They say the best form of government is a munificent monarch.
“Thank you for sharing that fascinating Brazilian history—your insight beautifully complements the poem’s reminder that true crowns, whether of kings or Jewel’s love, gain meaning only when used with wisdom and generosity.”
You are most welcome Esteven it is my pleasure
