Feelings start to fade

Nerd

Feelings start to fade

When rain covers my face

I create my own rain

Only from my chin

I showered myself with my own tears of rain

An umbrella I own

But there’s no use

From the rain comes from my own use

If I take the umbrella away

Can you tell the difference from my tears and rain?

Can I ask that?

No one ever looks my way

And notice my own rain

It is a sad poem using metaphor well as a bridge between feeling and nature or reality of the external. In line eight you might choose to remove the first from in that it is used again a couple of words latter and this confuses the meaning. Or the line might be rewritten retaining the first from and removing the second. It is a well written piece that sends its meaning clearly and conveys a sense of sadness of not being noticed or cared about.
