Money is tight: I think I might
Pay my bill.
Is it against his will to do what needs to be done?
To worry what tomorrow brings?
Hands supply needs...
To save for my tomorrow's forgetting his creed?
So I think I'll pay my bill.
I have enough; the future fills.

A poem that assumes we all have a bill to pay. Nicely worded it speaks of paying the debt.
Thank God, at least the big ones are paid off!
That is good
nicely said
Valiantstar, what a thoughtful piece. I love how you let the tension remain instead of forcing an easy answer. The balance between trusting God and navigating everyday responsibilities feels honest and relatable. Really enjoyed this, my friend. ๐น๐ค๐๐ฏ๏ธ๐ฆโโฌ
Thereโs a quiet struggle here between responsibility and faith, between what the hands must do and what the heart hopes for.
The simplicity gives it weight, like someone standing at the crossroads of worry and trust.
That's exactly right.
I paid the bill, and I got paid two days later!
I had a succulent Chinese meal.
