I want to hate the world a little bit,
Oh yes, tonight, I do.
Because tell me how to love the place,
That condemns me for what I do.
I want an average life,
With slow mornings and sunsets,
To be unremarkable,
To live without debts.
It feels like a crime, let me tell you.
To be unambitious.
To not want your future career to consume you,
It feels precarious.
And I really want to not be,
For once in my life, extraordinary.
To be some 9-5 job,
But to come home all merry.
And I know it's not right,
To make lesser money than I can.
To be simplistic, with high IQ,
Feels like failing my potential.
So, maybe tonight, right now,
All I want is this.
For someone to say it's okay,
To want life to be amiss.

To want a life of any type is the person's choice and I have known geniuses that have been common laborers and idiots that have been in charge of large corporations. Well written
I enjoyed this write. Think of the money before committing though.
