COME

Carlos Alberto BUSTILLOS

COME

Come and take me,
come so I can catch you.

Let us eat the stars together,
let us uncover our bodies and our souls.

Slowly, little by little, very slowly, unhurried,
to savor that moment that stretches on.

Hand against hand, lip to lip,
in the impulse of living,
skins together.

United,
devoted,
melted
by the heat,
fire in the body.

Passing the soul through fire,
fused in an insatiable passion,
in the act of giving,
a meeting of souls,
an explosive union,
we burst
into love,
into embraces,
into kisses,
united.

Skins,
lovers
who find each other
in the shared garden,
passion in Eden, paradises,
skins that seek one another,
fiery volcanoes,
stirred love,
given
to passion,
in the summer
that burns us,
souls and warm kisses.

It is love that burns us,
extinguishing the fire with kisses,
embraces, invading passion,
that only cools with more fire,
fire that consumes the passion.
