There Will Be Another Day

not_defined

Does it truly ever matter

Are we just little bitty specks

And all we aim for

Means nothing

I'm trying, I am

To find a reason amongst the waves

But I'm just finding myself further

And further into the sea

And I'll drown

And I'll drown

I'm becoming

Further down

I'll drown

I'm becoming

I'm becoming nothing

And if one day I will find

That exit I've always craved

Well, tell me please

When it shall be so

And I'll open my eyes

To find that perfect world

Devoid of all hurt

And broken dreams

Until then, I'll drown

And I'll drown

I'm becoming

And I'll drown

Just further down

I'm becoming

I'm becoming nothing

As I rest my weary eyes

Lay me to rest within the clouds

And let me fly

This poem takes a grander view of meaning and in that sense finds little or nothing, I might propose that meaning is a very personal thing and that one might find it in personal momentary pleasure. Well written
