AGUAS ENSOÑADAS

Carlos Alberto BUSTILLOS

DREAMED WATERS

Immersed in the waters,

beaches of sand and foam.

Waters that break into gentle waves.

Waves to ride, between the waves and the sky.

In that sea of childhood, in the waves that submerge us,

in the pleasure of feeling the sun's caresses on the skin.

In that magical place of memories,

dreamed waters of the sea,

floating in waters,

saltwater,

waters.

aguas.

----

No necesito entrar al mar.
El mar ya está en mí...

The sea has always been a metaphor for life and here is used well to illustrate the sentiments of the poem. Very nice

Carlos, I loved this. The gentle repetition of the water imagery gives the poem a calm, meditative rhythm, and the memories of childhood make it all the more inviting. Then that final thought brings everything together so naturally...some places become part of us forever. Beautifully done, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
