inversion immersion

Tristan Robert Lange

Notice of absence from Tristan Robert Lange
Life is full of seasons. This is a season of transition for me, where I will be moving with my family to a new location. As such, with much logistics to consider, I am doing my best to keep up. Please know if I accidentally don't respond, it is not because I am ghosting or becoming distant. Once things settle after the move, I am sure life will return to some normalcy. In the meantime, and always:

Read ๐Ÿ‘“, Write โœ๏ธ, Rise ๐ŸŒ…, Realize ๐Ÿคฏ.

Tristan ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ๐Ÿฆโ€โฌ›
drops of dust
drip up my eyes
in streaks of rust
to pallid green skies,
beneath the lord of flies—
survival swine, anti trust,
a whiff of a whopper of lies,
told as truth, it implies—
no matter the disgust—
endless degrees...

...of unwise.

Norman, thank you, my friend. I always appreciate your encouragement. It means a lot that you took the time to stop by and read this one. ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ“กโšฐ๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค

        most welcome friend

In a poem of antiphysics and counter economics where control is removed and placed all is lies. Lies are control and the mention of Lord of the flies a book of boys shipwrecked and having to set up government without adults that results in control and disaster. Nicely done Tristan you know very well that I am anti government of any form but also know that anarchism does not work either making me a bit of a nihilist but more of an isolationist for population reduction, and with that a bit of a hypocrite with four children of my own (conceived before my ideas had formed). A most thought provoking piece my friend

Without the government, we wouldn't have clean water.

          • sorenbarrett

That is true now days with as many people as there are but there was a time when there was no pollution since there were so few people and water was clean then.

Thank you, Soren. I knew you'd spot the Golding reference, and I enjoyed following where it led your thoughts. As always, our conversations leave me with something to chew on. Grateful for you, my friend. ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ“กโšฐ๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค

Thank you, never be. That's certainly one perspective, and I appreciate you adding it to the conversation. Thanks for reading, my friend. ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ“กโšฐ๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค

I thought this was gonna be about inversion therapy - tipped upside down to be 'reborn' and all that guff!
Meanwhile we will stay the right way up. Popeye has to, to be able to eat his spinach. lol.

                  • Tristan Robert Lange

๐Ÿ˜‚ Thanks, Orchi! I'll admit...that would've been a very different poem. Popeye refuses inversion therapy anyway. He says all the spinach would slosh into his ears. ๐ŸŒฏ๐Ÿšชโ˜ฏ๏ธ๐Ÿ™

                    remarkable image !

                    • Tristan Robert Lange

Thank you so much, Lorenz! I really appreciate that. I'm so glad the imagery caught your eye, my friend. ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ“กโšฐ๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค

Keen observation for my money, Tristan. Any solutions?

                      • Tristan Robert Lange

Thanks, Dave! Nope...I'd normally say I'd leave that to the people with the higher pay grade than me. Although, now that I think about it, that just might be the whole problem. ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐ŸŒ€โฌ†๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ™

                          May have something (plenty) there....

                          • Tristan Robert Lange

                            I mean...right?!?! ๐Ÿ˜‚

                          • Paul Bell

Governments agree you only need to be told a little of the truth, otherwise you can't cope.
Sadly, the little truth has disappeared and you just get the 100% lie now.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't vote for me, cos I can turn water into wine. Though due to the hosepipe ban you'll need to wait awhile.

                            • Tristan Robert Lange

๐Ÿ˜‚ Thanks, Paul! I needed that laugh. If the waiting list for the wine is anything like everything else these days, we may all be looking for a reluctant carpenter with a neat water trick. ๐ŸŒ€โฌ†๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ™

Thank you, rhmn_7! That means a lot to me. I love playing with rhyme, so I'm delighted it stood out for you. I truly appreciate you stopping by, my friend. ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ“กโšฐ๏ธ
