SIN

Michael A. McGuire

Darkness fell like a tranquilly soft
illusion, then there was no more light.

My soul grew cold, I was cradled by
fright.

Held hostage by my dark side in a
World that was evil and dim.

Please dear Lord, would you kindly
forgive me? I didn't mean to sin.

Beautifully captured a profound plea, contrasting the terrifying weight of human frailty with a desperate, hopeful reach for divine grace.
