Sapphire eyes, a fine jawline,
Flawless skin, sweet voice divine.
Effortlessly beautiful
I couldn’t tear my gaze away.
Our eyes finally meet;
Time freezes, my heart warms at his sight.
He smiles—
I am mesmerized.
Words would fail to describe
The beauty I beheld.
He reached for me,
Graceful, sure,
A grin lighting his face.
I dared not praise—
It was only a dream.
I reached back,
But before our hands could meet,
I woke.
Now I wait for the world to sleep,
For night to fall again,
To find him once more
The man in my dreams.

- Comment from author about the poem: In sleep, the heart wanders where reality cannot follow. This poem is a whisper from that hidden place — a fleeting encounter with beauty too rare for waking hours. It is a reminder that even dreams can leave footprints on the soul. ✨
