In twilight’s grasp, where shadows weave, A heart once bold begins to grieve.
Endless love, a river wide, yet you stand on the other side.
Your touch was warmth, a soft embrace, now echoes linger in empty space.
I reach for you through dreams and tears, But you push back, dissolving years.
The stars once sang our whispered tune, now silence reigns beneath the moon.
A dance forgotten that steps askew, As I plead love, you turn anew. With every word, I build a bridge, you cast it down, your heart a ridge.
The tales we spun, now threads unspooled, A canvas once bright, now cruelly fooled.
Yet still, I love with all my might, though you retreat into the night.
For love’s a fire that never dies, A flicker dimmed by your goodbyes.
So here I stand, in twilight’s glow, A love, unending, just to know. You may not want my heart to stay, but know it beats, despite your sway.
