Whispers

AmIAPoet-QuestionMark

Whispering wings pass
They speak stories to my ears

As the sun pushes the cold
air to the west

I ponder life with
mosquitoes zipping by
The Past - it drove me
and my future for so long

Decisions and words made from anger
Instead of love and empathy
They haunt me still and draw tears
The kind that barely leave the silent eye

Looking down at my arm
I see grey hairs invading

They are not bad or good
They just ARE

I will make up for my past
The way thru this is
with love
