To whisper softly
Eyes to sleep
Upon weary wings
Your burden keep
Rest a moment
Eyelids to fall
To this night
In clouded thought.
Upon mountains peak
Green valley below
Spread your flight
In Heavenly flow
Touch the skies
Kiss the wind
Throw aside
Your Earthly sins.
Within this moment
Rest to find
Slowly closes
Weary eyes
A lapse in time
Peace arrives
The slumbering soul
Beyond the line.

Norman, this really brought a sense of peace over me, my friend. It feels like a gentle invitation to lay down every burden for a while and simply rest. There's a quiet beauty here that never has to force itself. Wonderful write. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
