You'll get there in time so stop driving frantic,
Bloody English people in the rush hour traffic.
Work takes over lives and debt slavery rules,
All brought up, brainwashed in public schools.
A system that goes unchallenged, it's pathetic,
Johnson, Sunak and Starmer with their big stick.
I'm walking and watching, can be very observant,
Fight the power, fuck politicians, I'm not subservient.

I was brought up in public schools and was brainwashed only now at seventy five has some of it fallen away but private schools seem even more of a brainwashing (maybe in a different way) and theirs seems more of a tattoo than a washing it is permanent. Those that do not defer to conformity are crushed in either system, what we consider the free world is an illusion little different than that of communism or any fascist regimen or religion dominated state. Well written
