Enigma

Sree

They'll never understand your language,
Cause you speak differently.

They'll never understand your verses,
Cause you do not belong to this verse.

They'll never understand your phrases,
Cause they are not literate enough.

They'll never believe your instincts,
Cause you're built differently.

They'll never pass a good judgment on you,
Cause they're not the final judges.

They'll never see the light within you,
Cause they've made peace with the dark.

They'll never recognize your worth,
Cause they only value what they can measure.

They'll never read your soul,
Cause they never learned that language.

They'll never know who you truly are,
Cause they only met your shadow.

They'll never write your destiny,
Cause that ink was never theirs.

They'll never become your ending,
Cause they were only a passing chapter.

I like it when words take a different path...
