The Touch That Stays

ELIORA

Uff… that feeling,

his hands resting on my waist,

his lips teasing mine,

whispering “last one” yet stealing another kiss.

His touch roams everywhere,

eyes that seduce,

soft lips, calming gaze,

words that soothe and reassure.

Firm yet gentle,

his presence steady,

and deep down I know —

I want this man forever.

Even in silence,

his breath becomes my anchor,

his nearness the place I call home.

But love, like touch, can fade,

and though the moment claimed me,

the forever I longed for did not remain.
