God, it was like heaven when she spoke to me with kindness!
I was filled with fear and bad thoughts always
Rarely did I find this
Her holy presence next to me
Gave me a moment’s peace
She didn’t see me as a monster
No wrong place to cease
He asked “What’s different about her?”
I felt warm inside when she laughed
For once I was not neglected
For once attention lasts
Didn’t tell her any secrets
But at least she loved to see me
I believed that if I told her the truth
She would no more receive me
And I told them the truth
But of course no one believed me
Here I am with lightning thoughts
“I’m scared she’ll never love me.”
To be real is intimidating
Cause I’m not protected from
What’s ugly
Cause when I had no power
I suffered without hits
But once I got the power
Then they tore me into bits
But no, I won’t be moved
It isn’t really different
My heart just twists in pain
When it was touched; excess indifference
