Don’t Judge Me by My Past

GenXer Sharon πŸ™πŸ€

Never judge someone for their past mistakes or hearsay. You don’t have all the facts; and people can change. To judge someone by their past keeps you closed minded. Do you know that person’s full story? Why he or she made decisions that they made? Why not ask? You’ll be surprised at what you might find within them. Everyone has a past and for those who have repented God has forgiven their sins; and He has showed each one of us some mercy and grace; and has His children valuable life lessons. True; I have never been college so a degree is not in my hands. However; I’ve lived quite a life; and with each stage I’ve gained quite the experience. Just because one has made his or her fair share of mistakes; doesn’t make them less human; we’re doing all it takes. To never go back to our life without God; don’t judge me by my past when you’re not perfect either; life’s already hard.

Judge not that ye be not judged they say and true it is. A great write on no one is able to judge for they will never know all the facts even if they talk to all parties and were there themselves. I believe that people do the best they can with what they have to work with at the moment and there but for the grace of God go I. Nicely written Sharon

Amen. I wish people would quit gossip and spreading rumors. Let people live in peace.

I will be judged for being horrible to KP - Oops! lol. But I'm so generous - giving her double helpings of sewage for dinner. I can't understand why she complains. heehee.

Sharon, this really resonated with me. Mercy, grace, and the possibility of change are such important reminders in a world that’s often quick to define people by their worst moments. Heartfelt write, my friend. πŸŒΉπŸ–€πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ¦β€β¬›
