Watching the world burn
through a hazy window pane;
hope it’s not too late!

I hope not lots of smoke coming across to Long Island, right now, stay safe.
Thank you, yes, the air quality is pretty bad right now. Stay indoors and nursing a headache from the strong fire smell. 🙁
What a great blend of the senryu and haiku. Very nice
Yes it's the same every Summer. Is it to late?
The Burning (Pardon the Pun) Question.
These Haiku's hit the nail on the Head: as did yours.
Fränz, what a powerful little piece. The hazy window creates such an uneasy distance...close enough to witness what's happening, but never quite sure if there's still time to act. That final note of hope keeps the whole poem balanced beautifully. Wonderful write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
