Not touched alcohol again once, feeling better,
Even though right now it's beer garden weather.
10 and a half months on the soft drinks,
Saved an absolute fortune, me thinks.
Goodbye to blackouts, toodle pip to a hangover,
Here's to extra money in accounts and a day spent sober.

A celebration of sobriety nicely written in this piece with rhyme. Well done
Thank you.
Most welcome Shaun
Shaun, as someone who also no longer drinks, I know exactly where you are. The heart and mind remember while society carries on drinking around us...but ten and a half months is one hell of a feat! Be proud, my friend. I certainly am proud of you. DM me if you ever feel the need to commiserate. Weβre in this together! πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
Thanks pal, appreciate it and well done to yourself also.

Cheers.
Ahh, 10 and half months since we seen.......... we knows him! lol.
Hahahaha!
Good message. Alcoholism can be a huge problem for people. Not just on the budget.
For sure, thank you.
