"terminal lights"
The train rattled
through darkness
tunnelling
before the driver
could even check
his gauges
—speeding
towards the terminal
light.

short, sharp and direct says it all
Thanks, friend 🙏🏻🕊️
most welcome
Another metaphor I take it, As we all form part of the train it seems our leader has not checked his gauges and here we go full speed ahead in the dark headed for an abrupt stop at the end of the line. Could be just me and maybe my prejudices of politics and society in general though.
Sure thing, my friend. Thanks heaps. 🙏🕊️
You are always very welcome my friend
What a powerful little piece, my friend. We awaken to existence already in motion, unable to choose its beginning and carried steadily toward its ending. The brevity makes that inevitability hit even harder. Excellent work, arqios. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Good write A.
That's one way of looking at the Journey of Life.
Like it.
"Terminal light" equals nothingness, perhaps?
Could very well be. I’ll try to get back to you when I get there 👍🏻🕊️🙏🏻
