Abraham

     Abraham has lived in his home town most of his life. He left once for about six months but he could never adapt to a bigger city type of life. He left when Annalise decided that her career was more important than her roots here in Vermont. He thought once they finished school, he would tell her he loved her; and that he wanted to marry her but all that came to a screeching halt. Abraham has turned out “just fine.” He owns his own Construction Company and has made a good living for himself over time. His buddy Luke has set him on a few dates here and there but by the end of the first month, Abraham could see that it would go no where. Luke called him last night to tell him all he’s heard about Annalise coming back to town; he’s decided to keep himself busy; with no hopes of seeing her around. Abraham remembers how hard he used to pray for a reunion with the woman he loved; but he quit asking for such nonsense and now; well it looks like God’s timing is crashing through from above. Abraham is certain that Annalise has forgotten all about small town life. Moving to a big time city changes people; he’s sure he’s right. So.. what will happen?
