Brown eyes hold so much—
Honey and sand, gold and grace,
Warmth and beauty,
The passing of years,
And melodies that once sang.
Brown eyes have me in a state of a lost mind.
When the sun hits them and they glow,
Whether warm like honey
Or dark like gold,
They bring happiness in so many ways.
Maybe they even make you think of chocolate
That melts on your tongue with every taste.
Brown eyes
Have me in a state of a lost mind.
So breathtaking,
Heart-stopping,
And mysterious.
How many stories they hold,
Not everyone has witnessed.
I have a soft spot for brown eyes, as I've said before.
And brown eyes
Are worth so much more.
Whether they're a honey-flowing waterfall,
A cave filled with secrets,
Or a golden clock holding time,
Brown eyes
Have me in a state of a lost mind.

- Comment from author about the poem: Should I write about blue or hazel eyes next? I honestly don\\\'t know. I\\\'m making it my goal to write every day, whether it\\\'s good or bad. Every poem is practice, and every poem teaches me something.\r\n
