A ray of hope
I saw in your eyes,
A bright smile like a bright day.
It wasn't too much,
It was enough.
I wasn't there to see,
But I opened my eyes
As you came along.
I waited for this for too long.
A ray of hope
That can't be dimmed by darkness,
That never fades with time.
A ray of hope all over my heart,
A ray of hope that gathers
All the broken parts.

A poem of hope where it is the last to die. The poem reaches out for something to grasp. Nicely done
Thank you
My pleasure Sree
