I’ll never get a love like that again because you made me wiser
I hate that you made me smarter
It only happens one time.
I miss being dumb
Thinking I could hold onto you
Or anything for that matter
Thinking i could love and kiss and be careless
And trust
It is broken again
And you can’t make it over to the other side of the bridge
It’s splintered dramatically in half,
Dramatically opposing.
We can reach out but not touch,
I can feel you there.
A sludge pile.
Stinking up the back of my mind. Hatching eggs and festering, your little babies spilling out of my mouth each time I speak. Polluting conversation.
But i miss you more than I hate you.
I hate what you took from me more than i miss you.
Fuck you.
