They put Tom Holland in Juicy pants and a crop top,
This is the new Spider-Man, shit needs to fucking stop.
Hollywood curses through a screen, aimed at the viewer,
Agendas, algorithms and tick boxes decided via computer.
Are we being programmed by material darkness touched?
With this newer stuff I'm bored, constantly staring at my watch.
Where did the morals, righteousness and growth go, the heroes journey?
Obnoxious characterisations, old cinematic legends left on a gurney.

Ohh, we not got time for their antics! lol.
Haha! True!
Shaun you are growing old, I felt these things many years ago and the noticing of such is a sign of age. Grew up on radio, then black and white TV, this went to color, from drive in movies to cinema, to streaming now adds fill all even if placement adds, from punch cards to touch screen, I hear what you mean in this poem my friend and feel it too. Well done
Wait till u see supergirl.
Shaun, this gave me a laugh while making a legitimate point about corporate storytelling. I am considerably less alarmed by Tom Hollandโs stomach than you are ๐...but the juicy pants are a superhero fashion crime! ๐คฃ Jokes aside, I absolutely share your frustration when market calculations replace meaningful character development. Give me a compelling story and an earned transformation...the wardrobe can fend for itself! ๐น๐ค๐๐ฏ๏ธ๐ฆโโฌ
