When nights
Went thin
You stepped
Me in
When hope
Fell out
You quieted
My doubt
When storms
Ran wild
You steadied
My child
The trembling
In me
The part
I couldn’t
Let you
See
You held
My breaks
My faults
My shakes
You carried
Things
I couldn’t
Face
And never
Asked
For proof
Or grace
You stayed
Through cold
Through days
I folded
Through hours
I swore
Were too
Heavy
To hold
Your light
Small
Soft
True
Kept pulling
Me through
So here’s
My offering
My quiet
Ringing
Thank you
For everything
