Forgotten

Maplespal

I’m not a key I’ve never been used or turned,
lost from the start with nobody concerned.
I’m not a treasure I’ve never been sought to be found,
looked through and ignored when I’m around.
I’m not the winning hand never meant to be dealt,
never seen, never heard, never felt to be felt.
I’m a mystery hidden in front of your crowd,
my past, my present, my future is a shroud.
What am I, where am I, but hidden in plain sight,
I’ve become darkness lost within a stormy days light.
I'm forgotten.
