The visit

Maplespal

The care taken at your final site,
grass is mowed and your stone is tilted right.
I bought you these flowers to kneel and lay.
I'm in town visiting, I have things to say.
It was hard to find the words for you,
I close my eyes and you cloud my view.
I still hear your whispered voice.
To my heart you're still it's choice.
It's behind my eyes you're never gone.
I'm here to say, I won't move on.

Sad in its mourning a wistful feeling of loss so apt that we place cut flowers over graves. Nicely done
