An insulting Incident I can recall,
That left me quite Angry and Frankly Appalled.
While attending a Restaurant I favour the most,
I asked the young Garçon for a Medium Roast:
So he said I was Repulsive, Smelly and Bald.

Loved it a fun read and a fave sounds like Rodney Dangerfield
Thank you for Reading and the fave. As for Mr Dangerfield: High Praise indeed.
You are welcome Kevin good thing he did ask for a roast well done.
Having knocked around for a fair old time, several hypotheses with respect to his response spring to mind, the very least of which suggests your Garçon was a coffee lover and preferred a straight expresso, whereas your order was (let AI provide its own excuses) “a balanced, versatile bean with a medium brown colour, smooth body”, and sweet caramel notes.”
I hope this helps…..
Your Reply has left me Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered. 🤔 Anyway Up, thanks for Reading.
I'll follow a grand MPS tradition and give you three word responses in future...
Kevin, this is wonderfully constructed! The setup leads us innocently toward coffee, only for the poor customer to receive a completely unsolicited character assassination. Hilarious work, my friend! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the fave 👍
A clever little comic jab where the punchline sneaks in wearing a waiter’s uniform and a grin.
The rhyme carries the sting, but the humor wins—turning an insult into a tidy little roast of its own.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
