A strange dream

Ailyy

A dream where our world crumpled,

You faded,

I gulped the mock of the rest,

You came, embraced me so securely

That a dream felt utterly true.

I sensed your arms

I felt peace

We ran in front of those malicious eyes,

Their hatred was noisier, than our love

They trapped us,

Our hand in hand,

And then a bizzare statement they murmured:

"Together, you and that boy shall chase the setting sun across the sea".

Home was in sight.

And we knew our journey was won

Safely at home, I gather the fragments of my world into bags.

My eyes fluttered open,

And my lips whispered

"What a strange dream"
