Wait Until The Angels Sing

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Living in a society where none question why?

Planes and plumes zoom across the blue sky,

Leaves on the ground at the end of July.

TV is a distraction, sleep is complacency,

Government's evil, dictated to you and me,

Know the truths and thus, know your enemy.

Shots fire off but there wasn't a formal warning,

Living in a fractured kingdom under a lizard king,

The cost of survival is high, wait until the angels sing.
