Living in a society where none question why?
Planes with plumes zoom across the blue sky,
Leaves on the ground at the end of July.
TV is a distraction, sleep is complacency,
Government's evil, dictated to you and me,
Know the truths and thus, know your enemy.
Shots fire off but there wasn't a formal warning,
Living in a fractured kingdom under a lizard king,
The cost of survival is high, wait until the angels sing.

Shaun this poem recounts the state of present affairs which sadly are not what we would wish for. And those angels are up right after the fat lady sings.
Thank you!
You are most welcome Shaun
Shaun, what an unsettling poem! The dread keeps intensifying until ordinary life feels only moments away from complete collapse. One heck of a dark write, my friend! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thanks pal!
