A prisoner
long muted
An inmate
of time
Its ball
and its chain
Restricts
and defines
Promises
broken
With freedom
abjured
The silence
a lock
To bind me
— secure

good write friend
Thank you.
most welcome
A prisoner of time indeed Kurt for age is all of our captors from which none of us can escape
Indeed, thanks !
My friend, there is real weight in this. The captivity is emotional, existential, and brutally intimate...the kind that reshapes how a person understands themselves. This hit me hard. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thanks TR. I try to write aspirationally as to what WE CAN BE, and not only dwell on what we are.
