I've been down the path looking for her,
took the wrong turn and ended up alone.
It's my own fault for sure,
without the turn would I have grown?
With her would I be wiser at all,
or would I be someone that's weak.
I would have a lover to call,
and a best friend with whom to speak.
It's too late for second guessing,
I past the turn for a blessing.

A sad set of poetic questions set to rhyme but as said too late to ask. Well written my friend
Wow… yet this poem is all too human… masterpiece…
