Human Hearts

Faded Silhouette

It's been said some Human Hearts are made of gold

But Truth be Told

Human Hearts are more like silver

They corrode

The only way to see them shine again

Is to strip part of it away and watch a new person begin

A great metaphor cleverly crafted in rhyme. Well done

A very touching song, just like its theme about the inner state of the heart, which is already sensitive by itself. It touches on a universal truth about the human being.
