Some Nerve Continued

GenXer Sharon 🙏🍀

Annalise never made the connection that Loretta was Abe’s best friend’s wife until today. She’s only known Loretta since mid May. “Girl; that man has you all flustered. I’ve never seen you like this before”. Loretta says to Annalise. “He’s obnoxious and quite rude; there’s nothing about Abe that any woman can adore.” Loretta is all to familiar with how a man can really get to you; in fact; no man ever did until she met Luke. “We all have that one man Anna darling; the one who just has a way about him. Tell me; how do you know him again?” Annalise fills her in on how they grew up together. They climbed trees and he built her a treehouse; she thought they’d last forever. Anna told her how they held hands as kids because she was afraid of thunder; Abe was sure to always protect her. “And what’s this about you two having your own song? Annalise blushed and mentioned how they once danced to “you’re still the one” by Shania Twain. That was the day Annalise had her very first heartbreak. Loretta observes the sparkle in Anna’s eyes while talking about Abraham; “but he had no right to come in here with his hard hat on looking so grown up; like; well like a grown up handsome man.” Luke can’t believe how much of an idiot he was today; but once he saw Annalise; it brought him back to the “good old days.; he always teased her and she often gave it right back to him; it was good seeing her again.” “I still get to her so surely that’s a good sign right?” Luke just shakes his head and says; “you better go it’s almost nine.” I have a feeling that these two are going to work out in the end; see you back here next time my friends.

Another great chapter that starts to show mending signs. So nicely told in a most believable manner. Well done
