For A. G. Matoš, death is a dream
Because "in death one dreams"
For A. B. Šimić, death is an everyday occurrence
"something entirely human"
At least from an unfamiliar point of view.
For Lana Derkač, death is a hotel,
"Hotel for the dead"
For Ana Horvat, death is an encounter
With a family she did not choose
In a tomb under a laurel tree
Death is a lover with whom one can
Have a warm-cold dialogue
For a 14-year-old girl
In the terminal phase of cancer
Death is a castle to which she will escape
from pain, fear and sorrow
I die every day
My vital cells die
I die to myself, to my "I"
I die to my weaknesses
And to my selfish joys
For some, I have long since died while alive
Despite my undying love
I die and will rest in the grave as in a cradle
Like grain in a grain field, like a true peasant
In Ivan Koprić's poem "Victims of Harvest Festivals":
"A true peasant does not die
He only lies down
Like warm grain given to the reaper"
Death will be a rest and therefore
The dead leave with a smile
Pain and anguish can no longer reach them

A beautiful message in this poem a view on death or rather views. Death a universal law to all living things. The universes version of justice and equality. Many have fear of it but there is peace in it as well. I see it as a kind mother come to take me home. Very nicely written Durdica
Thank you so much! Your views are always mature... because you have both life and literary experience.
You are both most welcome and very kind
The pessimist will tell you, we die everyday.
The optimist, we live everyday.
Some will live with deaths shadow.
Others will perish.
The world moves on.
Thanks a lot! Your sentences carry a certain wisdom.
