decomposing lover

angeloverthemoon

My heart aches from all the desperation

My soul turns as it wishes

For someone to see me with pure admiration

One who could lend me butterfly kisses

Instead of withering separation

My body rots away

My organs decompose

Along with my conquests that refuse to stay

Commitment is a suicide I suppose

But their abstinence has left me in a state of decay

and soon I will be nothing but soil

Along with me will be maggots in dirt,

A few wheats and the smell of spoil

And what lives would be my hurt

A poem of sad confession and raw need unsatisfied. Well worded in most poetic style
