Venus Disrobed

Fränz Müller

Watching you undress

I fall in love again

with every freckle, every wrinkle;

the swell of your breasts

the curve of your hips

that amazing thigh gap,

that smooth skin, those pink lips

ensnare me, gaze transfixed.

The flash of those dark eyes

that bright smile

tells me you love that I still look

and admire your smooth, tan skin

as much today as I did

years ago

when we were both young

both naked, both trembling

together

for the very first time.

Love enthralled with the beauty of another over years is a wonderful thing. Represented in this poem well written it speaks to an enduring love.

Fränz, what a beautifully intimate poem! After many years of marriage, I understand the gift of being thoroughly known and still genuinely desired...and I love the mutual delight within this moment. The passion remains alive because the love beneath it has deepened. Beautifully done, my friend! A fave for sure. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
