I sunk , I sunk,
My soul flew as I sunk.
My fears , my heart ran through my veins and out my blood stream , while I begged and screamed .
You banged and bashed the inner good while my eyes are in a flood.
All the cries, the stops, broken bones and blood.
You turn off your switch and choose to ignore, while I’m bleeding out fitting on the floor.
I apologise for all your wrongs , while you laugh in my face and tell me I’m a disgrace , while I’m monged out into space.

A poem of abuse set to rhyme that holds the power of an abused abuser relationship. Well done
That’s it and thank you
You are most welcome Nicole
Good write
Either an abusive relationship or rushing the stage at a Taylor Swift concert.
Very descriptive and emotional. Good job.
Cheers x
There’s a brutal sense of helplessness here, with the repeated “I sunk” making the speaker feel trapped beneath the weight of another person’s cruelty. The blood, broken bones, and apology for someone else’s wrongs give this a raw, ugly honesty that’s hard to shake.
This exactly .
