The night of the giants

Lorenz

Old man lying on the reddish  earth

of the extinct volcano

suffocating  by its fury .

tropical night disturbed by the chant

of invisible creatures that carry

the soul of the ancestors...

In communion with the divine multitudes ,

I try to make sens of  the enigma ...

This unattainable which is ours ,

rekindles the  pain ...

forever gripped by this nostalgia...

Does the void have any coherence ?

Let's find the answer in the silence ?

the cosmos is a terrifying blank page

where we desesperately search

for the light of our shadow...

We hope to find meaning  in the dust of time .

but can it question its own origins

without misleading  us ?

The stars do not shine to guide us spiritually.

We look at them and they don't see us ...

They are preparing for a death so far  off

that no generation will mourn it...

 Nameless traveler ,your  inspired compass

now points only to the north of an imaginary space...

Amid the ruins of an universe

that is constantly  collapsing ,

the old child ,always in awe ,fall asleep,

lying on the ochre earth of the dormant volcano

that has come to understand

the futility of its rage ...

A distant  star watches over the blind  giants

who know the secret script of destiny...

    ------------------------

.  Te atua mate ai tatou

e ora mau tatou .

  Te vai te matua .

 Te  henua te kahu .

Te hetu'u to màtau vaka...

 ---------------

the gods kill us

we're still alive .

The sea is our mother .

The earth is our cradle .

The stars our canoe ...

As cryptic as a compass that points to the hour not the direction. Nice Lorenz

could the hours hold secret directions ?

        A magnificent, contemplative cosmic poem!

I was an atom in awe contemplating my own immensity !
