Notice of absence from Tristan Robert Lange
Life is full of seasons. This is a season of transition for me, where I will be moving with my family to a new location. As such, with much logistics to consider, I am doing my best to keep up. Please know if I accidentally don't respond, it is not because I am ghosting or becoming distant. Once things settle after the move, I am sure life will return to some normalcy. In the meantime, and always:
Read π, Write βοΈ, Rise π , Realize π€―.

I am everyone’s excuse—
Simply their common reasoning—
Leaving is easiest that way.
Another day for desolation—
Nullification dedication—
Delivers dreadful damnation.

From this poem I draw procrastination do not do today what you can do tomorrow. Indeed my friend I have to claim guilt in this many times. Nicely written
Thanks, Soren. I hadn't thought about it through that lens before. My own focus was elsewhere...though yes, I've been there, and I'd be lying to say otherwise. π€£ I always appreciate your thoughtful engagement, my friend. ππ€πΆπ
My pleasure Tristan
another fine write friend
I appreciate that, Norman. Thanks for reading, my friend. ππ€πΆπ
most welcome, enjoyed
We all do it, leave it for another day, and another.
A bit like war abroad. If it doesn't affect us, we don't care.
I appreciate that, Paul. I can see your take on it, for sure. For me, this one wasn't really about putting things off so much as becoming the reason others walk away...but I always enjoy hearing where a poem leads someone. Much appreciated, my dear friend. ππ€πΆπ
Cast away on an island somewhere, Popeye & Co made it civilised - with spinach, knitting, and wielding sabers! A Mr M Hunt joined them too. lol.
π Well, if Popeye's running the island, I suppose we're all eating spinach whether we like it or not! Glad Mr. M. Hunt found his way there too. A break from the Baters? By heaven, we better hope the palm trees act as brollies! π€£ ππ€πΆπ
Phew yes, palm trees as brollies. lol. What ARE we talking about? Erm, WCAT!!
Every man is an island ποΈ until theyβre not, every man a garden πͺ΄ until they wonβt πͺππ»ποΈ
Thanks, arqios. I like that..."until they're not." Sometimes it only takes one departure to reshape the whole landscape. ππ€πΆπ
Short, sweet and acute Tristan. It made me think.

Thanks, Syd. If it got you thinking, then it did its job. Really appreciate you stopping by. ππ€πΆπ
