God, can you hear me?
Through the quiet dark I call your name,
A flickering spark, a trembling flame.
God, hear my prayers and heal this pain,
Wash away this heavy rain.
Please don't make me feel lost and forgotten,
When the ground beneath is weak and rotten.
I stumble in shadows, I lose my way,
I need your light to guide the day.
Please guide me the right way, I pray,
Even when my faith is fray.
I trust you, God, though the night is long,
Help me find where I belong.
I need your help more than ever before,
As I stand alone at this heavy door.
I am so lost in the swirling haze,
Wandering blind through these empty days.
If you’re our father in heaven above,
Wrap me inside your endless love.
Can you hear my prayers as they rise and fall?
I am reaching out, I am giving my all.
I need you, God, more than ever, I plead,
You are the help in my hour of need.
My heart hurts so much, it’s shattered and torn—
Please heal me, Lord, and mend the forlorn.
