Upon phantom seas
Tossed and turned
Scars within
The mind to burn
Angels kisses
Marbled robes
Scrawling words
In quiet tones.
Like satin gods
Through unlit glass
Memories evoked
Of echoed past
Eternal nights
With hours long
Solitude to walk
In moments song.
Poetry with
The burning eyes
Another cigarette
A mask to hide
Ghosts within
The twisting flame
Tortured still
The unknown name.

This to me Norman speaks of inner turmoil and a mind working it out more of an existential problem than anything else. Nicely done with rhyme my friend

Ahh, the unknown name of the bus route, if it ever turns up. lol.
the unknown bus or rather unseen bus lol
lol
Norman, this really drew me in. It has that dreamlike atmosphere you do so well…haunting, reflective, and quietly beautiful. I found myself lingering in the imagery long after the final stanza. Wonderful write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
most kind, thanking you my friend
