Revenge is my name

Michael A. McGuire

I remember!

I remember well the pain of being a child!
I remember the fear that was my cradle
during those dark years of peace.

Now, I have entered into a world that
intrigues my senses and makes them flow.
A world of depression, hatred, lust and
evil called Life!

In my mother's womb, I knew far too well
the warmth of non-existence!   Now, I'm
a frozen statue, like a chess piece standing
tall on a giant board of continents.

Begging for release to speak my mind and
do as I please without feedback from laws
and their constricting purposes!

I remember well those years of playing
ignorant because I knew not the rules of
the Game!  Now, the World is going to play
MY game and I'LL make up the rules but no
one will ever see them! HA! HA! HA!

I don't remember anymore, but YOU will
never forget!

The sense of revenge and sweet retribution for wrongs is felt in this write. It speaks of an eye for an eye in other words and the proverbial statement that revenge is a plate best served cold.
