Poem, Yes He Rides
Yes he rides through the night,
Under the main street light,
Going slow.
This old town ain’t the same,
Who’s to blame,
Now nobody knows me anymore,
Times have changed,
Still he rides,
I’ve realized,
Deep in time,
Oh leading a wild & restless life,
Into the night,
Is this right?
Still he rides,
Oh weaving a path into night,
Through darkness into light,
Who rules this night,
Saying only the strong will abide,
Spin it around,
Stays the same,
Oh it’s hard to play this game
Who’s to blame,
Round & round it goes stays the same.
Still he rides,
Oh weaving a path into night,
Through darkness into light,
Who rules this night,
Saying only the strong will abide,
Weaving a path,
Does it really matter,
Who rules this night,
As I’m in my last fight,
Yes only the strong of Faith will survive.
Chasing Loves into the Firelight,
Through the night!
