An ancient mystery in her soul
Mortal flaws way down this spirit
Draped in delicate skin
Blackness still wraps this room
Dwells, in every quiet corner of her being
Is the natural order, rushed to a painful speed
Endless gloom
The inner labyrinth
A single pulse in many chests
Savage, callous, inhuman
An unchangeable shadow lingers
This tensile shroud
Like a page dissolving in the storm
An empty relief
Yet the shadows keep their secrets still
