My old friend darkness rises again,
ebony shapelessness creeping upward from from deep inside
i hate myself for not being enough
Not enough for myself nor not nearly enough for you
pain, so much despair cloaked in shadow and night
where is it all hiding?
if growth is found in pain then why am i not ten feet tall
all around me walks sorrow disappointment suffering and broken dreams
Vapid smiles of empty souls of shadow shuffling through life
zombies still living but dead inside
And I am just one among the many
