Maplespal

She watched me die then gave me life,
pounded my chest until I took a breath.
The one that I wanted as my wife,
she kept me from the beauty of death.
Fear covered her loving face,
tears dropped down on my chest.
Today the memory still has trace,
that moment that I was blessed.

This sounds like a tribute to one that brought one back for the brink of death. Lovely
