An unfortunate truth
among consummate lies
Each word like a sword
embedded inside
Its timing ill chosen
with proof to dismay
That comes unexpected
— to reclaim the day

Another truth put to rhyme and meter. Well said my friend
Again, you have my thanks. Many of your responses trigger things like this.
Kurt, this one carries a hell of a sting. That moment when an unwanted truth cuts through everything else and suddenly demands to be faced…powerful stuff, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
I knew you'd 'get it.' Thanks TR.
