Reclamation

Kurt Philip Behm

An unfortunate truth

among consummate lies

Each word like a sword

embedded inside

Its timing ill chosen

with proof to dismay

That comes unexpected

— to reclaim the day

(Dreamsleep: August, 2026)

Another truth put to rhyme and meter. Well said my friend

Again, you have my thanks. Many of your responses trigger things like this.

Kurt, this one carries a hell of a sting. That moment when an unwanted truth cuts through everything else and suddenly demands to be faced…powerful stuff, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
